Application areas:

1. High temperature structural materials

High temperature resistant components: Yttrium carbide has a very high melting point (about 2400 ℃) and can maintain strength and oxidation resistance at high temperatures, making it suitable for extreme environments such as aerospace engines, gas turbine blades, and combustion chambers.

Composite material enhancer: As an additive in ceramic matrix composites (CMC) or metal matrix composites, it enhances the high-temperature wear resistance and thermal shock resistance of the material.

2. Wear resistant coatings and protective materials

Surface coating: A coating made by thermal spraying or chemical vapor deposition (CVD) technology, used for cutting tools, aviation components, or nuclear reactor walls to enhance surface hardness and corrosion resistance.

3. Nuclear industry applications

Neutron absorbing material: Yttrium has a large neutron absorption cross section, and yttrium carbide can be used as control rods or shielding materials in nuclear reactors to help regulate the rate of chain reactions.

Radiation resistant material: maintains structural stability in high temperature and strong radiation environments, suitable for nuclear fuel cladding or reactor components.

4. Electronic and Optoelectronic Materials

Field emission materials: Their high electron emission efficiency makes them potentially applicable in field emission displays (FEDs) or electron microscope cathodes.

Semiconductor additives: used as dopants to improve the electrical or thermal properties of semiconductor materials.

5. Catalysts and Chemical Applications

Chemical reaction catalyst: It may serve as a catalyst carrier in specific organic synthesis or ammonia decomposition reactions, utilizing the active sites of rare earth elements to enhance reaction efficiency.

Packaging and storage: This product is packaged in an inert gas filled plastic bag, sealed and stored in a dry and cool environment. It should not be exposed to air to prevent moisture from causing oxidation and aggregation, which may affect dispersion performance and usage effectiveness; The packaging quantity can be provided in separate packages according to customer requirements.
